Ngāti Maniapoto/ Te Atiawa

Kia mau tonu ki tēnā; kia mau ki te kawau mārō. Whanake ake! Whanake ake!

Stick to that, the straight-flying cormorant!

I was born and raised in the humble town of Kihikihi, gateway to the mighty King Country, then moved to Otautahi to study.  In October 2011 I left  Otautahi for my OE in the UK... 10 years later I am still here.

I have been so grateful to be part of the Ngāti Rānana whānau since 2016.  For the past 2 years I have held the role of Kaiwhakahaere Pāpāho - Media and Marketing Manager, a position I have thoroughly enjoyed, helping to bring Ngāti Rānana's branding presence into the 21st century. I look forward to leading us back into the world as it emerges from 2 years in isolation.

I have worked in television in Aotearoa hosting its longest running kids TV show "What Now" and now I work in TV Production here in Rānana.

2021 has shown us the true power of connection; and I hope going forward I can help connect our whānau back home with all the exciting mahi and experiences we hope to have here in the northern hemisphere.
