Ngati Ranana had the honor to support our NZ Defence forces and in particular our NZ representative attending the Royal College of Defence Studies. This college was set up by Winston Churchill himself to bring defence personnel from around the world together in a bid to understand each other and work together towards peace and harmony. The function held in the penthouse of New Zealand House was packed and the visiting crowd showed their appreciation with huge applause and a real zest to participate in the audience participation.
Garin Golding, Inspector General for the Royal New Zealand Navy and function organiser wrote
“Bruce, the representatives from all 54 nations present at NZ House throughly appreciated the performance, your groups insights into NZ culture, our indigenous language and humour. A fantastic night had by all of which your group truly contributed to. As you can see by the response to the interactive part of the performance, it was enjoyed by all and will be remembered long into the future. Thanks again.
